Matt Delorenzo's Scuba Mouse - Mouse Fly Pattern

This is the my good friend Matt Delorenzo's "Scuba Mouse". This pattern is fished much like a Dahlberg Diver and pushes some serious water triggering dramatic and violent strikes. But the articulation in the pattern offers superior hooking power and means more monsters brought to the net. Articulated patterns like this one Matt dreamed up also are far more gentle on the fish as the joint between the two parts of the fly eliminates the levering and tearing that can occur on a larger "stinger" style hook.
